Join the Newseum Friday, April 24, at 2 p.m. EDT for a live taping of The Young Turks, the award winning online news and politics show, from the Newseum’s Knight Studio. Host Cenk Uygur and Ben Mankiewicz will discuss the biggest and most important political news of the day featuring their trademark unfiltered, progressive and truth-to-power opinions.
Following the show, The Young Turks and the Newseum Institute will present a panel discussion beginning at 4 p.m. EDT called “Do the Media Have Any Real Power?” moderated by Gene Policinski, chief operating officer of the Newseum Institute, and featuring Cenk Uygur with three other panelists.
This special White House Correspondents Week episode will later air on The Young Turks’ YouTube channel. The Young Turks is the largest online news and politics show in the world, with 38 million views per month, more than 2 million subscribers and 1.8 billion lifetime views.
The taping is free with paid Newseum admission. College students who mention the show and show a valid student ID will get free admission to the Newseum on April 24.
