Two presidential hopefuls – Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio – officially joined the 2016 election race in the past two days, and the all-important New Hampshire primary will soon become a focal point for political reporters and junkies alike. The Newseum recently celebrated the centennial of the primary with a special panel discussion on the power of the Granite State in setting the tone for each presidential election race.

Hosted by Bloomberg View columnist Albert Hunt, the program featured a rare conversation on the history and importance of the primary with Sen. John McCain, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, political commentators James Carville and Tom Rath, and Joe McQuaid, publisher of the New Hampshire Union Leader.
