Summer Fun Deal, Museum Day, SFD

The Newseum will waive admission for youth visitors during this season’s Summer Fun Deal.

The Newseum’s most popular annual promotion returns! Starting July 1, 2018, the Newseum will waive admission for all youth visitors, ages 18 and younger, to kick off this season’s Summer Fun Deal. With the purchase of at least one general adult ($24.95 plus tax) or senior ($19.95 plus tax) admission, up to four kids visit for free (regular youth admission is $14.95 plus tax). Like all Newseum tickets, Summer Fun Deal tickets are valid for two consecutive days, making it the perfect weekend-long outing this summer. Tickets are available online now! They can also be purchased on-site at the museum’s admission desk. This exciting promotion continues all summer. Take advantage of this great deal through Labor Day, September 3, 2018.

Engaging exhibits for the whole family include the News History Gallery, which showcases nearly 400 historic newspaper front pages dating back from the 1500s and “1968: Civil Rights at 50,” which explores the tumultuous events that shaped the civil rights movement in 1968. One of the museum’s most popular galleries, the Pulitzer Prize Photographs Gallery, features every Pulitzer Prize winner dating back to 1942, when the award was first presented.

Children and adults alike will also love becoming a TV reporter in the NBC News Interactive Newsroom, and will learn lots of fetching facts about presidential pups who resided at the nation’s most prestigious address in “First Dogs: American Presidents and Their Pets.” Take a family photo on the Hank Greenspun Terrace, with its breathtaking views of Washington, D.C. The Newseum is a must-visit destination this summer, especially in light of this limited time offer!
