Are guided tours offered?

The Newseum offers two options for tours:

  • A private 90-minute guided tour is available during or after regular operating hours. This tour must be booked and paid for in advance. For more information on this exclusive tour, please click here.
  • A one-hour First Amendment Guided Highlights Tour is offered to the general public during regular hours. The 60-minute guided tour is available daily at 10 a.m. (10:15 a.m. on Sundays), 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets must be purchased on the day of visit at the Newseum admissions desk.

Guided Highlights Tours for visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing and use American Sign Language will be held on the first Saturday of each month at 1:30 p.m. No advance notice is required. Additional ASL tours will be provided with seven business days notice by writing to accessus@newseum.org.
