Jonathan Thompson is the vice president of marketing and public relations of the Newseum where he leads a talented team responsible for executing the organization’s strategic communications objectives, media plans and publicity campaigns that promote exhibits and support the museum’s mission to champion free expression and the First Amendment. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Boston University in 2007. After college, Thompson worked at a boutique healthcare PR agency in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle before joining the Newseum in 2008.
