Saturday, Aug. 26 is Women’s Equality Day. The date commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment, which secured women’s right to vote, on Aug. 26, 1920. It is also a time to acknowledge that the 19th Amendment didn’t include all women, and that 97 years later the fight for gender equality is still far from over.
