The Newseum continues its series “The President and the Press” with former MSNBC host and Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren who talks about her new book, “Everything You Need to Know About Social Media,” which provides a simple step-by-step guide to the major social media platforms.

In the book, Van Susteren mines her own social media experiences to give both newcomers and seasoned users insights into making the best of the platform and answers basic questions from “what’s the best site for you?” to “how to tweet” and “what does it mean to ‘tag’ someone?”

Van Susteren will also talk about President Donald Trump’s use of social media and discuss his relationship with the press.

A book signing will follow the program.

“The President and the Press” explores the Trump administration’s relationship with the press, pertinent challenges to the First Amendment, and protecting the free flow of information in a divided nation.
