U.S. News & World Report White House correspondent Kenneth T. Walsh talks about his new book, “Ultimate Insiders: White House Photographers and How They Shape History.”
The book shows how official White House photographers have morphed into the ultimate insiders within the American presidency, allowed to observe and take pictures of nearly everything the chief executive does related to his job.
In the book, Walsh tells the photographers’ stories, emphasizing their observations about the presidents they get to know so well along with other key figures close to those presidents — including the first ladies, members of Congress and important world leaders.
A book signing will follow the program.
