The State of Financial Literacy Education Today @ Knight TV Studio | Washington | District of Columbia | United States

The Newseum Institute will host a special panel discussion on the state of financial literacy education, following a news conference at which major consumer groups and child advocacy experts will announce their endorsement of FoolProof, a new consumer life skills resource for teachers. The groups and experts will endorse curricula for both middle and high school students developed by the FoolProof Foundation’s Walter Cronkite Project. The curricula were created as a free alternative to the financial literacy resources funded by business interests.

Walter Cronkite IV now represents the family on FoolProof’s Walter Cronkite Committee.
