Program Explores the Future of News

The Newseum, the interactive museum of news located in Washington, D.C., launches a groundbreaking 10-part series for public television that explores news and communication in the digital age.

"The Future of News with Frank Sesno" is hosted by the Emmy Award-winning journalist and director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Sesno guides the weekly conversation between the best minds in traditional and new media as they discuss emerging forms of news and information and the role of a free press in an ever-changing digital democracy.

Is the gatekeeper news model a thing of the past? In a world of opinion and with so many news choices, how do we find the facts that matter in our lives? Sesno and his guests will examine these issues and more.
