Best in Online Journalism Awarded
Storify, the Los Angeles Times, Grantland.com and California Watch were the top winners in their respective categories at the annual banquet of the Online Journalism Awards, which was held Sept. 22, 2012, in San Francisco.
The OJAs, now in their 13th year, are administered by the Online News Association, in partnership with the University of Miami's School of Communication. They are the only all-digital media awards celebrating the best of online journalism across the globe.
The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Gannett Foundation donated a total of $33,000 for five awards.
An interactive kiosk, located within the Newseum's Bloomberg Internet, TV and Radio Gallery and on the Newseum's website, includes milestones and innovations from a decade of achievement in digital journalism.
