Early Bird Weekend Specials Starting Oct. 9

WASHINGTON — Set your alarms for the Newseum’s Early Bird Discount.

Beginning Oct. 9 through Dec. 26, 2010, buy one general admission ticket between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. any Saturday or Sunday and get another one free.

Tickets are available only at the admissions desk. Offer is not valid in combination with other discounts. Second ticket must be of equal or lesser value.

Once inside, don’t miss “Covering Katrina,” the Newseum’s exciting new exhibit that chronicles the dramatic tale of the media’s reporting of Hurricane Katrina and its destruction.

And don’t forget, Newseum tickets are always valid for two consecutive days.
