The Source Hosts James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour
WASHINGTON — The Source by Wolfgang Puck will host the Washington, D.C., leg of the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour.
When: Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011
Time: 7 p.m.
Price: $200 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity
Executive chef Scott Drewno will partner with a formidable lineup of the city's top culinary and beverage talents for an evening of fine food and drink.
A cocktail reception in The Source's lounge will feature concoctions from the area's top mixologists, including Adam Bernbach, Derek Brown, Todd Thrasher and Chantal Tseng.
Guests can complement their cocktails with appetizers from Mike Isabella of Graffiato, Haidar Karoum of Proof/Estadio and Adam Sobel of Bourbon Steak.
A six-course menu, prepared by some of the area's leading chefs, will be held after the reception in the upstairs dining room:
- First Course: Cathal Armstrong, Restaurant Eve
- Second Course: Patrick O'Connell, The Inn at Little Washington
- Third Course: Bryan Voltaggio, Volt
- Fourth Course: Scott Drewno, The Source by Wolfgang Puck
- Fifth Course: Victor Albisu, BLT Steak
- Pastry Amuse: Dolcezza
- Dessert: Tiffany MacIsaac, Birch & Barley
