THE SOURCE SELLS FAMED 15-LAYER CARROT CAKE MADE TO ORDER AND AVAILABLE FOR TAKEOUT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Washington, DC – This month, The Source by Wolfgang Puck is looking to make home entertaining that much easier by offering its celebrated 15-layer carrot cake made-to-order and available at the restaurant for purchase. Executive Chef Scott Drewno’s moist, spiced cake with cream cheese filling, which was included in Tom Sietsema’s “Ten Sweet Endings” list in The Washington Post 2009 Dining Guide, is available in small (4 – 8 people), medium (10-12 people) and large (12-20 people) sizes, and priced at $30, $60 and $90 respectively.

The Source by Wolfgang Puck is located at 575 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (entrance on 6th Street). The dining room is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. The bar is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
