WASHINGTON — While investigating the 1972 Watergate break-in, Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein followed a trail of deception that led them all the way to the Richard Nixon White House. At a "Reel Journalism" screening of "All the President’s Men" on March 16, Bernstein, Woodward (via video) and former Post executive editor Leonard Downie Jr. recalled the events that ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Veteran journalist Nick Clooney hosted the last of the four-part winter "Reel Journalism" film series which showcases classic and contemporary films depicting the integral role of journalism in American life.
Tickets for the spring series, which includes the films "The War Room" and "A Mighty Heart," are on sale now.
