Shot in the head by police Aug. 28 in Enugu. He was publisher of his quarterly magazine and had gone to a print shop to check on a job. Police, called to the print shop in search of another man, forced Amaruben at gunpoint into a police car. Once inside, Amaruben was struck on the head, then shot and killed.
