Disappeared Nov. 11 at age 26. A journalist and teacher, Adur founded the Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones Artísticas. the details and circumstances of his death are unknown. During the military regime of 1976 to 1983, thousands of Argentines, including journalists, were imprisoned, tortured and killed without trial. Many have never been found; they are called “the disappeared ones.”
