A journalist from Cordoba, he disappeared on July 22 at age 36. He had been correspondent for “Sindicato de Trabajadores Mecánicos de Alemania” magazine. The details and circumstances of his death are unknown. During the military regime of 1976 to 1983, thousands of Argentines, including journalists, were imprisoned, tortured and killed without trial. Many have never been found; they are called “the disappeared ones.”
