Disappeared June 12. She was a reporter for this labor union magazine and wife of journalist Ignacio Ikonicoff, who disappeared the same day. The details and circumstances of her death are unknown. During the military regime of 1976 to 1983, thousands of Argentines, including journalists, were imprisoned, tortured and killed without trial. Many have never been found; they are called “the disappeared ones.”
