Disappeared June 21. A journalist student from San Miguel de Tucuman, the details and circumstances of her death are unknown. She was 25. During the military regime of 1976 to 1983, thousands of Argentines, including journalists, were imprisoned, tortured and killed without trial. Many have never been found; they are called “the disappeared ones.”
