Disappeared Nov. 11 after leaving his house; his body was found Nov. 15 floating in the Riachuelo river on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. A coroner’s investigation ruled out alcohol and drowning as causes of death, saying Bonino died in “suspicious circumstances.” A journalist for the newspapers Diario Popular, Sur and La Razon, he was also a press officer for the Union de Trabajadores de Prensa, Buenos Aires’s largest media workers’ union.
