Adnan, a reporter for the Cairo-based independent television station Al-Baghdadia, was killed with 32 others in a suicide bombing that occurred while he was covering a meeting between a senior interior ministry official and local tribal leaders in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad. A cameraman from the station also was killed. Adnan was 30.
