Photographer Horst Faas joins The Associated Press in 1955. He's assigned to cover war in the Congo and fighting in Algeria, then spends a decade covering the Vietnam War. In 1965, he wins a Pulitzer Prize for his work in Vietnam. He collects another Pulitzer in 1972 for coverage of the war in Bangladesh. Faas is the first photographer to receive the award twice.
