Newseum Podcast Pulitzer Photos Series Continues

The latest episode of the Newseum Podcast’s Pulitzer Prize Photos series is now available! The new series of episodes, hosted by Frank Bond and Sonya Gavankar, features conversations with the award-winning photographers who captured some of the most memorable photographs in recent history to explore the story behind the image.

In this week’s episode, photographers Irwin Thompson, Smiley Pool and Michael Ainsworth discuss their covering Hurricane Katrina for The Dallas Morning News. The staff of the Morning News received the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography in 2006 for its collection of striking images showing the devastating storm’s aftermath in New Orleans.
