Don’t miss this low-cost opportunity to visit D.C.’s most newsworthy museum! The Newseum’s seven levels of interactive exhibits explore the story of news, the role of a free press in major events in history, and how the core freedoms of the First Amendment — religion, speech, press, assembly and petition — apply to their lives. From the 1968: Civil Rights at 50 exhibit, to discovering Pulitzer Prize-winning photographs, there is something for everyone at the Newseum. Stay for a few hours, or spend the whole day; either way, you can return the next day for free! All tickets are good for two consecutive days.
NewseumED will also be offering a special class for seniors throughout the month of September. The free class will be held Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. in the Newseum’s Documentary Theater. No registration is required.
