In May 2005, Arianna Huffington launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that paved the way for digital media and quickly became one of the most widely read media brands on the Internet.
On the 10th anniversary of the website, Washington, D.C., bureau chief Ryan Grim, senior politics editor Sam Stein and politics managing editor Amanda Terkel gather to talk about the history of The Huffington Post and some of the biggest stories the site has covered, including a recent exclusive interview with President Barack Obama.
The Huffington Post — the Pulitzer Prize-winning source of breaking news, original reporting and features — now reaches 214 million unique visitors a month and has more than 90,000 bloggers. The Huffington Post has editions in the U.K., Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Maghreb, Germany, Brazil and South Korea.
