Inside Media: “That’s What She Said”: Closing the Gender Gap in the Workforce @ Knight TV Studio | Washington | District of Columbia | United States

Joanne Lipman, former editor in chief of USA TODAY, talks about her new book, “That’s What She Said: What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together.”

With reports of sexual harassment and assault dominating the headlines in recent months, the book explores ways men can join with women to help close the gender gap, empower women as true equals and create a dynamic working environment that benefits women, men and the greater good of the company.

Filled with illuminating anecdotes, data from the most recent relevant studies and stories from her own journey to the top of a male-dominated industry, Lipman’s book shows how we can all benefit in the workplace by reaching across the gender divide.
