The Russian attack on the 2016 election grabbed headlines, but it’s only the latest incident of America being attacked by adversaries in cyberspace following on the heels of assaults by China, North Korea and Iran.
In their new book, “Dawn of the Code War: America’s Battle Against Russia, China and the Rising Global Cyber Threat,” former Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Carlin and national security journalist Garrett Graff provide the inside story of how America’s enemies launched a cyber war against the United States and how the nation has learned to fight back.
The book takes you to the front lines of a global fight as the Justice Department and the FBI chase down hackers, online terrorists, recruiters and spies.
