The New York Times Magazine’s chief national correspondent Mark Leibovich talks about his new book, “Big Game: The NFL in Dangerous Times.”
The book takes readers deep inside the NFL, from the owners’ meeting to the draft to the sidelines of crucial games, and profiles key personalities including NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
In the book, Leibovich also delves into the true impact of player concussions and how the NFL has become a touchstone for America’s culture wars since the election of President Donald Trump.
Prior to joining the Times Magazine, Leibovich was a national political reporter in the Times’s Washington bureau. He also worked at The Washington Post, The San Jose Mercury News and the Boston Phoenix.
