From Dec. 5 – 11, Newseum visitors can enjoy Time Inc.’s LIFE VR’s immersive experience, “Remembering Pearl Harbor,” which commemorates the upcoming 75th anniversary of the attack.

Developed by Deluxe VR in partnership with HTC Vive, “Remembering Pearl Harbor” is a groundbreaking historical VR experience, narrated by survivor Lieutenant James Downing.

Users will travel back in time to 1941 to witness the attacks on Pearl Harbor through the eyes of one person, and experience the event’s aftermath in the years that followed. Users can also explore issues of Life magazine that would have been in American homes at that time, listen to President Roosevelt address the nation over the radio, interact with personal mementos and much more.
